Will Wyman, Board member
Colonel (Ret.) William A. Wyman, Jr., US Army, is an ASA National Board of Director member. He served for over 40 years in the Active Army, US Army Reserve (USAR), and Army National Guard. His strategic assignments include serving as the Chief of Staff for the USAR Deputy Commanding General in the Headquarters, US Army Training and Doctrine Command; as a Military Faculty member at the Joint Forces Staff College teaching Joint Professional Military Education to Active and Reserve Component servicemembers, US Government employees, and International Fellows from foreign militaries; as a Strategic Planner in the Office of the Chief of Army Reserve G-1 and Headquarters, USAR Command G-1. His operational experience includes assignments as a Plans Officer with Headquarters, US Army Europe and NATO Response Force J-5; Civil-Military Operations Planner with Multinational Corps-Iraq; Chief of Operations, Civil-Military Operations with Multinational Division-Baghdad; and Civil Affairs Team Chief with 2-5 Cavalry, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division.
Currently, he is pursuing a post-graduate degree in International Relations and enrolled in the US Air Force Air War College. His professional military education includes completion of the US Army Command and General Staff College, College of Naval Command and Staff, Advanced Joint Professional Military Education, Executive Joint Domestic Operations Course, Joint Humanitarian Operations Course, Joint Interagency and Multinational Planners Course, Homeland Security Planners Course, and Project Management Professional Program. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Our Lady of the Elms College with an Advanced Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the American Bar Association and a Master of Military Arts and Science in Theater Operations from the School of Advanced Military Studies.
