Getting frustrated with loosely defined terms such as “strategic competition” or “great power competition” while drafting strategies across the Army and DOD? Join ASA President Ken Gleiman for a MEMBERS ONLY (Chatham House Rule) strategic conversation with retired Army Strategist Ryan Shaw on Thursday night, 16 September  2021 7:00-8:30PM. Ryan Shaw will discuss the concept of Competitive Statecraft as the integration and synchronization of all elements of national power in deliberate campaigns during both peace and war to secure the nation’s interests and advance its values. He will describe the adventure of establishing the new McCain Center at Arizona State University and some of his future plans for Research & Analysis, Strategy & Policy, and Education. Members are encouraged to bring their own ideas and recommendations from the field. This event will be virtual and informal (relax and grab a drink). Members who RSVP will receive a zoom link 24 hours prior.

As with all of our Strategic Conversation events, this event will be informal with evening libations and networking are highly encouraged.
