About the Event
What: Second Annual ASA Staff Ride and Social. This year’s focus is on the Second Manassas campaign, and principal theme is wartime adaptation in tactics and strategy.
When: Saturday, September 25, 2021
Who: Participation open to all ASA members, and their invited guests. All participants should have a current COVID-19 vaccination. Participation is limited to 30 people total with two groups of 15 participants.
Where: Beginning at Kelly's Ford near Remington, VA, continuing at Manassas Battlefield Park, and culminating with a social at Sinestral Brewing Company in downtown Manassas.
Why: Networking, Professional Development.
Cost: ASA members pay a $10 registration fee, non-members pay $20. Participation includes box lunches, first drink at the last stand, and park/museum access.
Last year's staff ride was a huge success. Participants had great fun and enjoyed the opportunity for spirited conversation and networking among Strategists. This year, Christopher Stowe and Charles Bowery will be our facilitators again and bring to the staff ride the same energy and inspiration they brought last year.
ASA Member and Staff Ride Director Dr. James Cahill will contact registered participants with additional details as the date gets closer.
