Dr. Krepinevich writing award
The Andrew F. Krepinevich Jr. award is given annually for the best Doctoral Dissertation, Scholarly Monograph, or Book Manuscript by an ASA member on topics such as grand strategy, national security, defense policy, foreign affairs, international history, etc. A distinguished panel of Army Strategists evaluate each submission across five criteria: accessibility, applicability, quality, impact, and authorship. 3 finalist are then sent to a panel of senior officials including Dr. Andrew F. Krepinevich who determine the final winner. The winner will receive a certificate and will be invited to give a book talk to the ASA membership.
ASA KREPINEVICH BOOK AWARD 2022: Submissions are due by 15 May 2022. Any book published between 2012-2022 or unpublished dissertation/monograph completed after 2012 is eligible for the award. Submissions should go to (firstname.lastname@example.org).
